Results of the Global School-based Student Health Survey in Vietnam (GSHS) were reported by HUPH at the MOH-WHO joint Launch.

On April 25, 2022, the representative of the HUPH research team - A/Prof. Tran Thi Tuyet Hanh, Ph.D. made a report presentation followed by a Q&A session in a hybrid Launch of the Global School-based Student Health Survey 2019 (GSHS) Results. The survey was conducted by HUPH at 81 secondary schools and high schools in 20 provinces/cities nationwide, under the direction of the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), and the technical and financial support of WHO, CDC. The survey results are used by MOH and MOET in making important policies to improve health behaviors among students and proactively prevent non-communicable diseases in the 2021-2025 period. NGOs also rely on survey results to develop intervention programs for health promotion and prevention of risk factors for secondary and high school students. The survey results have received great attention from the media and the community and have been published on many television channels, newspapers, and radio.
