Training to enhance knowledge and skill about pork safety risk communication workshop for medical and veterinary staffs district and commune level of Tien Lu district, Hung Yen province on 17 November 2020

In 17 Nov, Center for Public health and Ecosystem Research collaborated with International Livestock Research Institute, Vietnam University of Agriculture and Sub-Department of Animal health of Tien Lu district, Hoa Binh province implemented a training session which aim to enhance knowledge and skill about pork safety risk communication for medical and veterinary staffs.

This is an activite on the framework of SafePORK Project, beside the slaughterhous and retailer, local authorites, medical and animal health staffs is an important chain which directly effect to pork safety. We hope that during and after SafePORK Project ends, local medical and animal health staffs have been fully equipped with knowledge and skill about pork safety risk communication and they can organize propaganda sessions about this topic towards communitie by themself in the future.

Nearly 20 local medical and animal health staffs who participated in the training session were very excited and anthusiatic to participate in speaking and exchanging knowledge, skill and experiences about risk factors, hazards and the necessary of risk communication towards communities about food safety in general and pork safety in particular. The workshop happened sucessfully.
