HUPH acted as a co-host and attended the 13th International Conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries in Hue City

On 1-2 July 2023 in Hue City, HUPH in collaboration with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy successfully held the 13th International Conference on Public Health of the Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries in 2023. The conference was attended by nearly 400 in-person and online participants, who were experts, scientists, lecturers, and students from 14 countries including Vietnam, Thailand, China, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Australia, Germany, Japan, Ireland, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippines and Singapore. There were six keynote speakers shared by experts and leaders in Public Health at two plenary sessions, 92 oral reports, 138 poster reports, and 12 thematic sessions. HUPH team participated in the Conference with diverse activities such as: being members of the scientific committee, being chair/co-chair of the report presentation grading committee at the thematic sessions, attendance at the Dean's meeting, delivering one presentation at the plenary session, six presentations at thematic sessions, and two poster presentations. The HUPH team won 2 first prizes (MSc. Pham Quoc Thanh and MSc. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha), 1 second prize (MSc. Tran Thi Ngan) and 1 third prize (MSc. Nguyen Minh Van). HUPH acted as a co-host and attended the 13th International Conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional countries in Hue City.
