HUPH held a seminar on "Science and Implementation Research" and a science thematic session on "Thalassemia & the roles of early screening for some genetic diseases".

To introduce Science and Implementation Research, the relationship between evidence-based practice, role, and importance of Implementation Research in medical research in Vietnam, HUPH successfully organized a seminar on "Science and Research for Implementation" in the afternoon of June 15, 2023. The seminar saw the participation and sharing of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Christopher Hoffman from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (USA), Assoc. Prof. Le Thi Kim Anh - Head of the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences - HUPH and more than 50 participants from universities, research institutes, and hospitals across the country.

Also in this quarter, the Laboratory Center and the Department of Research Management and Cooperation jointly organized a science thematic session on "Thalassemia & the roles of early screening for some genetic diseases" in the afternoon of July 14, 2023. As one of the common genetic diseases, Thalassemia has been seriously affecting the quality of population and generations, causing large burdens for families and society. In addition to the sharing of experts, the session also saw the participation and sharing of an insider about Thalassemia, Nguyen The Thai Son - a former student of the Medical Laboratory Technology discipline (Batch 3, HUPH).
