A meeting was held between HUPH and Prof. Salim S. Abdool Karim - Winner of the 2021 VinFuture Prize Laureate for "Innovators from Developing Countries"

On the afternoon of December 20, 2023, HUPH solemnly organized a meeting to welcome and exchange cooperation with Professor Salim S. Abdool Karim. The HUPH side saw the participation of Prof. Hoang Van Minh, MD, Ph.D. - Rector, Assoc. Prof. La Ngoc Quang - Vice Rector, representatives of lecturers, faculties, centers, and students. The Columbia University side saw the participation of Prof. Salim S. Abdool Karim with his spouse and members of the delegation. At this cooperation opportunity exchange event, Prof. Salim and HUPH staff discussed the topic of "COVID-19: Advancing an evidence-based response". This was also a special event about cooperation opportunity exchange in the field of scientific research in general and international cooperation of HUPH in particular.
