Lawa Model Online Course
Online course focused on applying the Lawa Model One Health approach to disease control in the community
Learning about One Health, including online self-learning and local community field trips. The course uses the Lawa model to demonstrate the effectiveness of the One Health approach for disease control and to illustrate how OH Core Competencies are practical skills essential for supporting the approach. The Lawa Model is a successful and world-renowned integrated liver fluke control program based on EcoHealth and One Health principles that were established in the hyperendemic Lawa Lake region of Northeast Thailand over ten years ago.
